The Department of Health (DOH) vows to pay for the hospital bills of those breastfeeding mothers. According to DOH this is a part of their New Born Package programs that aims to eliminate neo natal deaths. Further, DOH will pay 6, 500 for those mothers who delivered in the hospitals and 1, 750 for lying in clinics. DOH has been promoting breastfeeding among newborn babies since this has good benefits on both the mother and the baby. 

According to study, babies that has been breastfeed on their first 6 months has lesser sickness and fewer behavior problems as the grow older. Side from that breastfeeding also helps parents saves up money. The said program was endorsed by celebrity mom
Audrey Zubiri and Daphne Osena-Paez.
