Davao Province experienced the wrath of Pablo

Super typhoon Pablo, the strongest typhoon to hit the Philippines this 2012 has destroyed not just properties but lives as well. Air flights, sea trips and some land trips has been cancelled due to the strong wind that the typhoon brings. Uprooted trees, flying roofs, heavy rains that cause landslides and floods makes everyone scared and save everything they can. Thousands fled to evacuation areas in as early as 4 am on Tuesday morning as the typhoon began to show its strength. Classes were suspended and some businesses were also closed to secure everyone's safety.
In Davao City, police and firemen were on the street and coastal barangays checking everyone's status.
In Davao Oriental, a 64-year old woman was confirmed dead. She was inside her house when it was hit by a giant tree. Cateel Davao Oriental was also reported isolated because of some unpassable roads. Services of some Telco has shut down and thus communication was impossible until mid afternoon of Tuesday.
In Compostela Province it was reported that 20 soldiers were lost and further search and rescue operations has been done. Authorities believed that maybe it was just a miscommunication problem since services of some Telco's had shut down.
AS of 7:00 pm PAGASA reported that the eye of typhoon Pablo was located 40 km west of Dumaguete City, with maximum sustained winds of 160 kph and gustiness at 195 kph. Pablo is moving west-northwest at 24 kph.
