After 34 days of his death, Negros Representative Iggy Arroyo's remains has finally arrived. His dead body was flown to Manila via Emirates Airlines flight EK 334 and arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 9:45 pm on Wednesday. With him is his long time partner Grace Ibuna, Gabrielle, and his daughter Bianca Arroyo.Iggy was brought to Arlington Funeral Homes and from there he was brought to the ancestral house of the Arroyo's at La Vista. After there, his remains will also be brought to the house of his legal wife Aleli at 17 Badjao Street also in La Vista.
Media coverage is limited and is barred from entering the subdivision as requested by Ibuna.
“For the record, it wasn’t for money. But you would understand that this is not the proper forum for me to discuss anything about that. But I promise all of you that through my lawyer, I will answer all your questions in due time. Just give us time to grieve right now,”Ibuna said in an interview regarding the battle between her and Aleli about the money.
