Manila, Philippines- The transfer of Gloria Arroyo to Veterans Medical Memorial Center has been delayed. The former president won’t take a lift due to bad weather. Her spokesperson Elena Horn said that the now congresswoman of Pampanga has been to two chopper crash that GMA has been traumatized. Horn added that they see no reason why the ex president can’t travel by land which is fine with them even if they will just ride a taxi.
"We don't need the fanfare. It's only 120 kilometers. We don't have to wait for the anti-Gloria rallyists. That is why we wanted to travel at 6 a.m. because we didn't want any people on the streets," she said.

The PNP said that they want Arroyo to be airlifted for security reason. But Horn said that GMA can ride a bullet proof car so she will remain safe and secure.

Secretary Jesse Robredo of the Department of Interior and Local Government said that he don’t mind what type of transportation that would transfer Arroyo to VMMC what matters to him now is Arroyo should be brought to the VMMC today.
