If you've been puzzling over how to cut your business cards and make then look professional, you'll be glad to know that there are a couple of options available to you. These options can be used whether you just have a couple of cards to cut or a whole sheet of them. Here are two ways to do so:
  • Use a rotary trimmer. If you don't have many business cards to cut, you should use a rotary trimmer. These cutters can cut perfectly straight lines and they're perfect for smaller jobs. Just line up your card and move the blade carriage to trim away excess paper. If the cutter can use different blades, you can also score, perforate, or add a wavy edge to the card depending on your needs.
  • Use a guillotine cutter. For larger cutting jobs, a guillotine cutter is ideal. These trimmers can cut bigger amounts of paper and they provide a crisp, clean cut. If you choose to use a guillotine cutter, you need to be very careful. Be sure to use the machine's blade latch and keep your fingers away from the blade.
Cutting your business cards with the right tool is essential if you want to make them look professional. Be sure to use a rotary trimmer or guillotine cutter to get the cut you need.
