Kendrick Perkins who played for the Oklahoma Thunders was arrested in Beaumont, TX on Saturday morning and was charged for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.Perkins was booked into Jefferson County Jail at around 4:00 a.m., posted $251 bond and was released shortly thereafter, according to TMZ.com.
TMZ also learned that another NBA player, Stephen Jackson, was also arrested but was not taken into custody or booked on any charges.
Perkins had suffered from dehydration on Thursday night and was taken to Medical Center of Southeast Texas, where he was treated and released after according to report from KFDM. Doctors advised him to take a rest.
