Senior Superintendent Jigs Coronel, chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-National Capital Region (CIDG-NCR), personally delivered the arrest warrant issued by the Sandiganbayan to Former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroy at the Veterans Medical Memorial Center presidential suite.
The warrant of arrest was served for her plunder cases. Mrs. Arroyo's plunder case in non-bailable and has a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.
Currently the Former President is still confined at the VMMC.
