Man dies after joining beer-drinking contest

Nino Maralit was declared dead on arrival at the Delos Reyes Clinic on dawn Saturday after he joined a beer drinking contest in Puerto Galera. 

Maralit, 29, was not anymore breathing when his colleagues noticed him. He was given first aid treatment and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
