Where should Saif al-Islam Gaddafi face trial?
This is the question that is pressuring everyone to answer. The son of former Libyan leader is now in the midst of controversy after his lawyer said that if he will face trial in Libya he will get unfair justice. His defense lawyer also said that Saif had "been physically attacked and misled over the charges against him," according to Reuters.
Libyan government want Saif to face trial in a domestic court where he could face death penalty if convicted. Whereas the International Crime Court said Saif should have his trial in The Hague where he will only face life imprisonment if found guilty.More of this report here.
