Duterte: "If you (Smart and Globe) will not go to the council, I'll bring this to the court aron ma-contempt mo."

 

Vice Mayor Rodrigo Duterte of Davao City was dismayed over the two giant telecommunications company Globe and Smart. In his Sunday program, Gikan sa Masa, Para sa Masa he said that the two companies changed their protocols on direct access to 911, an emergency number in Davao City. Duterte said he was disappointed because he was not informed of the said changed.

He said that Smart and Globe should respect what has been agreed before. That they should inform the people of Davao regarding any changes on 911 access because it is an emergency number.

"If you (Smart and Globe) will not go to the council, I'll bring this to the court aron ma-contempt mo. Ang ginawa niyo ay napakabastos, you ignored a critical aspect of governance," Duterte said.
