Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr appealed to the Filipino people to stop blaming his father, former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., for the nation woes. He said in his Facebook account that “blaming past administrations will not bring food to the plates of the hungry. Excuses cannot substitute for performance and results.”
This statement was posted in his Facebook account in relation to the Edsa1 celebration. It was the Edsa revolution who kicked out the late dictator from his position of 20 years and was exiled in US along with his family.
There are speculations that the senator is eyeing for presidency soon as he has been very vocal about helping the Filipinos to get out of poverty.
