Previously conjoined twins set to go home

PALO ALTO, California - Angelica and Angelina Sabuco are previously conjoined twins in the chest has been recovering from their successful surgeries performed at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford University. According to lead surgeon Dr. Gary Hartman the twins are "recovering very, very well."

Hartman also said that the liver of both girls are functioning normally although a bit of their chest walls are abnormal in shape but this will be mold as they grow up.

Angelina and Angelica will continue their physical and occupational therapy. Both girls are learning to walk backward and forward instead of just moving sideways.

The surgery was done by a team of more than 40 doctors, nurses and hospital staff who made their part in making the surgery possible and successful.

The Sabuco's are from the Philippines and is currently living in San Jose California.
