Manila, Philippines- Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is under arrest. The arrest warrant was issued by the Pasay trial court judge and was served at St Luke's Medical Center in Taguig. Senior Superintendent James Bucayo lead the serving of the arrest warrant, said that Atty. Mike Arroyo some allies and members of CGMAs family were present when the warrant was served.
CGMA will not be brought out of the hospital due to her physical condition. Mug shots and other formal booking will be done at the hospital. CGMA was charged with electoral sabotage along with former Maguindanao Gov. Andal Ampatuan Sr., and former election supervisor Lintang Bedol by the Commission on Election on Friday morning.
