Lean Suter was broadcasting live while covering a rain storm that had caused flooding east of Los Angeles, in Fontana, California when she was shot by a BB gun. She managed to finish her report.
Suter was hit in her hand with a pellet from a BB gun. The police immediately scattered to look for the suspect. The police found out two boys, a 16 and 17 years old and were immediately arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon.
Meanwhile, Suter has been released from the hospital and the two boys were also released to their parents.
