A Filipina tourist in Cambodia loses her right leg in a bus collision in
Prey Veng, Cambodia on the early morning of Monday. Nina Kristine Abad, 30 years old was in Cambodia for a short vacation and to see the Angkor Wat. She was riding a double-decker bus along with other tourists from South Korea, Spain, Indonesia and Ireland when the bus collided with a truck filled with corn. The driver fled and is still at large. According to the police authorities in Cambodia the bus driver may had fell asleep.
Nina was still confined at the Phnom Penh hospital. Her doctors said that she will undergo skin drafting after 10 days so her wounds would close and she will be ready to travel back to the Philippines via an air ambulance.
