NPA attack TRENTO police station

There are about 200 New People's Army who attacked the Trento Police Station on Saturday at 5:30 in the morning. "Definitely they want to overrun the station with their number [and] umabot ng isang oras ang attack. Sensing that reinforcement troops were closing in, the rebels were forced to withdraw," Caraga police head Chief Superintendent Reynaldo Rafal said said in an interview on radio. When asked about the casualties he said that there are 2 policemen who were slightly injured and one civilian killed but he did not named the casualties.
The fight last for about one hour and when the NPA sense that there are reinforcement troops coming they retreated to a nearby Sta. Josefa town.
