An amazing New York police detective along with his squad save the 32 year old flight attendant from a suicide attempt in Queens, New York.

Avery Kenery, who is employed by Delta Airlines, managed to call her mother and her husband to apologize and say goodbye just before 5 p.m. July 17, according to a report on the Filipino Reporter.

She also asked her mother and her husband to tell her children how much she love them before she lost consciousness.

With Avery still on the phone, her mother Beth Walz, managed to call 911 but she got no help because she doesnt know the exact location of Kerry.

The Walz family call different police stations in the nearby area until they reached Det. Charles LoPresti of the 103rd Precinct Detective Squad. With no hesitation Det. LoPresti rushed to the area which was supposedly under the jurisdiction of the next precinct but LoPresti did not mind about it.

“We just jumped in the car and put our lights and sirens on and went to the corner," said LoPresti, a 22-year NYPD veteran.

When they arrive they began knocking and pounding the doors.

When LoPresti saw flight attendants enter one building, he went in and began pounding on doors.

Luckily, Kenery’s mother, who had stayed on the line with her daughter’s phone, heard LoPresti call Kenery’s name. Kenery's mother exclaimed, “She’s there! We hear you!”

LoPresti couldnt find Kenery on the third floor of the aparmtment, that is why he asked Beth to hang up and call Avery back. The ringing of the phone led LoPresti to Kenery’s limp body wedged between a bed and a wall, and covered by a sheet. Avery was then rushed to Jamaica Hospital and she woke from a coma 3 days after.

LoPresti said he had visited Avery and she thanked him for saving her life.

The Walz has nothing to say but praises for the amazing detective and his squad.

“They will forever be angels to us,” Walz said.

Meanwhile, authorities are not talking about Avery's motive of suicide attempt.
