Administrative case against Duterte

Secretary Jesse Robredo of the Department of Interior and Local Government has recommended filing of administrative case against Mayor Sara Duterte of Davao City regarding the punching incident last July 1, 2011. According to Robredo he understands the action of Mayor Duterte in trying to save and avoid bloodshed but her actions in punching Sheriff Abe Andres “was neither an acceptable nor the only option” to stop the demolition.


In an early interview with the Lady Mayor, she said that she is willing to face any case filed against her as a result of her actions.
