NEW FISH KILL IN MATAAS NA KAHOY, BATANGAS

Batangas City, Philippines- Another town in Batangas is hit by another fish kill. Mataas na Kahoy which was reportedly to have 30 fish cages has lost 10 MT of bangus and tilapia. Fish cage owners and caretakers are harvested the remaining undead fish and afraid their fishes might end up dead too. Rotten fish are harvested and buried. The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources are still conducting full study regarding the massive fish kills which affected most of the Batangas fish cages.
