Davao City Hits by Flashflood, Killed atleast 4

Davao City was hit by a flash flood on the early morning of Wednesday resulting to atleast 4 people confirmed dead. The said flash flood is caused by the heavy rain and thus the Matina River overflowed. many are still missing and the police officials and rescue teams are still srearching for the victims. The affected barangays are Matina Pangi, Matina Crossing, Matina Aplaya and Talomo. In a television interview with the city mayor, Mayor Sara Duterte, she confirmed that about 20, 000 to 40, 000 families were affected and most of them are now in Central Park Gymn. She added that this is not the first time that the Matina River overflowed but this is the first time that the water reaches to as high as 10 meters. The water has subsided and some residents are back home for some cleaning operations.
