Derek admits break-up with Angelica

Derek Ramsay admitted on Monday that his six-year relationship with Angelica Panganiban is over. Ramsay confirmed it through micro-blogging site Twitter.

In a previous interview Derek admits that he and the young actress is on "cool-off stage". Despite the said break-up Derek defended Angelica from all rumors linking her to actor John Lloyd Cruz. After the break-up was announced another name came into the picture. Some Twitter users linked Derek to Sam Pinto whom he'd work before for a commercial. 

Meanwhile, Angelica has still no words about the said break-up

Mayor's son shot dead in Cebu

Carl Vinsun Apura, son of Carcar City Mayor Nicepuro Apura was shot dead in  Barangay Upper Tubod early morning on Sunday.

The young Apura was last seen dancing with a certain Joy Lañas who he just met at the fiest. Apura was then brought to a nearby district hospital but was declared dead on arrival by consulting physicians. 

No one in the barangay knows that Carl was the son of their mayor until he was shot. 

Meanwhile, Mayor Apura said his son is not a trouble-maker and has no enemies at all.He wants the police to do their job and put in jail the real gun wan. The mayor is now seeking justice for his son.

Roderick Paulate accused for hiring 'ghost employees'

Veteran actor and incumbent councilor of Quezon City Roderick Paulate and his colleague Francisco Calalay was charged by the Office of the Ombudsman of criminal and administrative offense for hiring 'ghost employees'.
"Charges of Malversation of Public Funds through Falsification of Public Documents, Violation of Section 3(e) of Republic Act No. 3019 and administrative charges for Grave Misconduct, Serious Dishonesty and Falsification of Official Documents have been filed against the two, as well as their respective liaison officers Flordeliza A. Alvarez and Vicente E. Bajamunde," according to a report by ABS CBN.

Paulate as well as Calalay was discovered keeping and paying "ghost employees" under their respective offices receiving a monthly salary of 2,500 to 5,000 pesos. 

Director Edgardo Diansuy of the Ombudsman said that upon investigation they also found out that this fictitious personnel has no birth records at National Statistic Office. 

Paulate has not issued his reaction to the said charged against him.

Mo Twister and friends suspended!

DJ Mo Twister (Mohan Gumatay in real life) along with his friends was suspended after starting a naughty joke that involves the international singer Charice.
On Wednesday DJ Mo, DJ Suzy and DJ Mia started a joke with a hashtag #charicepempengcosextape over a microblogging site Twitter. The controversial hashtag became a hot trending topic in the Philippines and many Twitter users quickly reacted to it.
Charice on her part tweeted although it has been deleted and can't be seen on her timeline,

“@djmotwister you are...unbelievable.”

“@djmotwister too bad. Remember, you interviewed me? I thought you were nice. anyway, I should talk to you FACE TO FACE. :)”

Magic 89.9 issued a statement regarding the incident and here it is:

The management of Today’s Best Music Magic 89.9 does not condone what happened this morning, May 9, 2012 on GoodTimes. As a joke, the 3 DJs started an objectionable hashtag about Charice Pempengco on Twitter. An Apology to Ms. Pempengco shall be made tomorrow morning, May 10, 2012 on the said Radio Show. Furthermore, as sel regulation, The DJs involved shall be suspended from boardwork for Two Weeks without pay as consequence of their actions.

Meanwhile Mo made his public apology to Charice over Twitter and also said that he called Charice and ask forgiveness.

Charice Pempengco Sex Tape?

In Less than an hour after the controversial disc jockey DJ Mo Twister post a hashtag #CharicePempengcoSexTape became a hot trending topic in the Philippines. 

Several Twitter users quickly reacted to this controversial hashtag.
